An AI assistant that lives in your own WhatsApp
Message yourself on WhatsApp, for example “ask Rahul to send the report by 5pm, remind him in 2 hours”. The assistant messages Rahul, keeps track of the task, follows up and tells you when he replies. It runs on the number you already use.

In short
The whatsappx.si AI Assistant runs on the owner’s own WhatsApp, linked by QR code. You message yourself, for example “ask Rahul to send the report by 5pm, remind him in 2 hours”, and it messages Rahul, tracks the task, follows up (up to 3 times, never during your quiet hours) and tells you when he replies. It pauses when you reply yourself and never claims to be a human.
How do you set up the AI Assistant?
Link your WhatsApp by QR code
Scan a QR code from the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app on your phone, the same way WhatsApp Web works. The assistant runs on the number you link. Use a number that has been in normal use for 15–20 days.
Switch the assistant on
Open the AI Assistant page in your workspace and turn it on. It is private to the workspace owner and admins: teammates do not see its chats, tasks or activity.
Choose who it may read
Add the people and groups the assistant can see. Messages from anyone who is not on the list are never read or stored by the assistant. Your own “Message yourself” chat is always included.
Set your limits
Set quiet hours, a pause after you reply yourself, a maximum number of messages per hour and per day, and a daily AI limit. Lower limits are safer for your number.
Message yourself
Open your “Message yourself” chat and write the task, for example “ask Priya to fix the banner, remind her in 2 hours”. You can also send a voice note.
What can you ask it to do?
Everything starts from your own “Message yourself” chat. Only you can give the assistant commands from there.
Hand out tasks
Ask it to message a person for you. It writes the message the way you would, sends it and records the task.
Follow-ups and reminders
It follows up up to 3 times, paced out, and never during your quiet hours. When the person answers, it tells you in your “Message yourself” chat.
Replies in your style
Optionally, it can learn how you write from your chats so its messages sound like you. This is off by default and you choose whether to turn it on.
Pauses when you take over
The moment you reply in a chat yourself, the assistant pauses in that chat for the time you set, so you never talk over it.
Voice-note commands
Send yourself a voice note and it runs like a typed command. It replies with what it heard first. See voice-note commands for the limits.
An activity log
See everything the assistant did, or chose not to do, with the reason. Open tasks and the daily counts are on the same page.
How does it protect your number?
WhatsApp can restrict numbers that send automated or bulk messages. The assistant is built to behave like one person, slowly.
Slow, human-like pacing
There is a minimum gap between messages and a limit per hour and per day, so it never sends in bursts.
Quiet hours
You set the hours when it must not send. It does not send follow-ups during them.
A short list of people
Keep the list of people it may read small, for example up to 10 people. A longer list raises the risk that WhatsApp restricts the number.
It never claims to be human
The assistant does not pretend to be you or a person. If someone asks, it does not say it is a human.
What does it read, and what does it never read?
The assistant only sees the people and groups you add to its list, plus your own “Message yourself” chat. Messages from anyone not on that list are never read or stored by the assistant.
Only the workspace owner and admins can see its chats, tasks, activity and writing style, or change its settings. The assistant is built on the owner’s personal WhatsApp, so it is not a shared inbox feature: your team keeps replying to customers in the shared inbox as before.
What are the honest limits?
- It is for the owner’s own WhatsApp. It works on a number linked by QR code and is designed for one person’s chats, not for a team to share.
- It follows rules you set. It is not a general chatbot, it does not run on its own initiative, and it only messages people for tasks you ask for.
- Pacing means it is not instant. Messages go out slowly on purpose, within your daily caps and outside quiet hours.
- It is not a bulk sender. It is not for broadcasts or messaging people who did not agree to hear from you.
- Errors happen. If something keeps failing, use the support chat button in the app and tell us what you saw.
- The official WhatsApp Business API is coming soon (waiting for Meta approval). The assistant works on a QR-linked number today.
