The short answer

Choose whatsappx.si if your team wants to keep the WhatsApp number it already uses: scan a QR code, reply together from one shared inbox and set up keyword auto-replies, with the official WhatsApp Business Platform and a REST API as extras when you need them (AI replies are coming soon). Choose DoubleTick if you run sales campaigns at scale and need bulk broadcasts, a chatbot builder, AI agents, mobile apps and enterprise governance on the official API (as of October 2026).

The verdict

whatsappx.si or DoubleTick?

  • whatsappx.si fits teams that want to keep the number they already use: scan a QR code and the number becomes a linked device, with recent chat history syncing into a shared inbox the whole team replies from.
  • whatsappx.si covers the shared-inbox essentials: assignment, search, unread counts, roles, workspaces and invites, plus keyword auto-replies, a searchable knowledge base for teammates and a REST API with webhooks.
  • DoubleTick is stronger for sales operations at scale: bulk broadcasts with segments and analytics, Bot Studio, AI agents, a wide integration catalog and Android and iOS apps (as of October 2026).
  • DoubleTick is stronger for large-team governance: custom roles, team hierarchy, SSO and IP whitelisting on Enterprise, and a stated ISO 27001 certification (as of October 2026); whatsappx.si holds no certifications.
  • Both can connect through Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform. DoubleTick is API-only, with Coexistence in India for Business app numbers (as of October 2026); whatsappx.si offers the official API alongside QR linking.
  • Pricing differs in approach: DoubleTick publishes INR and USD plan prices and offers demos rather than a free trial (as of October 2026). whatsappx.si has not published its prices yet; see its pricing page for plans in the USA and India.

Who is DoubleTick for?

DoubleTick is built by Apport Software Solutions in Mumbai and describes itself as an official WhatsApp Business API provider (about DoubleTick). It is aimed at sales-led businesses, especially in India, that message many customers at once.

As of October 2026, its strengths are things whatsappx.si does not offer: bulk broadcasts with customer segments and analytics, the Bot Studio chatbot builder, AI agents, product catalog sharing with an ordering bot, and Android and iOS apps (DoubleTick pricing; DoubleTick homepage). Larger teams get custom roles, a team hierarchy, and SSO and IP whitelisting on Enterprise. Google Sheets and Shopify integrations are included; Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier and others are paid add-ons.

Some features are gated: Starter does not include AI agents, Bot Studio, conversation search or automatic agent assignment, and scheduled broadcasts are Enterprise-only (as of October 2026).

Who is whatsappx.si for?

whatsappx.si is for teams that already run on a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app number and want more than one person answering it. Scan a QR code, the number becomes a linked device like WhatsApp Web, recent chat history syncs in, and everyone replies from one inbox at the same time.

On top of that inbox you get chat assignment, unread counts, search, live updates, owner/admin/agent roles with agents limited to assigned chats, multiple workspaces, email invites and keyword-triggered auto-replies you can switch on and off. A knowledge base lets teammates search your articles for answers by keyword. As extras, you can connect numbers through Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform, create templates that sync with Meta, and use a REST API with outbound webhooks.

For example, a dental clinic could link its number by QR code so the front desk and two assistants share the inbox and assign appointment chats to whoever is free. whatsappx.si does not have broadcast campaigns, a flow builder, built-in CRM integrations (only via API and webhooks) or native mobile apps.

How do the two connect to WhatsApp?

DoubleTick connects only through Meta’s official WhatsApp Business API. As of October 2026, its Coexistence option, which keeps the WhatsApp Business app and the Cloud API on the same number, is available in India, works only with Business app numbers (not personal accounts) and is fixed at 20 messages per second (DoubleTick help: Coexistence vs API; Coexistence FAQs).

whatsappx.si offers two ways:

  1. QR linking. Scan a QR code with an existing WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app number. This uses WhatsApp’s linked-device feature, so its limits apply: up to four linked devices, and they log out if the phone is unused for more than 14 days (WhatsApp Help Center).
  2. Official WhatsApp Business Platform. Connect numbers through Meta’s Cloud API with Embedded Signup in the app and several Meta numbers per workspace. Meta bills per delivered message separately (Meta pricing).

How does pricing compare?

DoubleTick publishes plan prices that load by visitor location, defaulting to yearly billing. As of October 2026, according to doubletick.io/pricing:

PlanIndia (INR, + 18% GST)USA (USD)
Starter₹3,000/month billed yearly (₹36,000/year)$2,038.80/year (about $169.90/month)
Pro₹4,200/month billed yearly (₹50,400/year)$2,613.66/year (about $217.80/month)
AI agents add-on+₹42,000/year (shown as “Pro + AI”)$1,080/year
EnterpriseTailored to your needsTailored to your needs

Quarterly and half-yearly billing is also listed. Meta conversation charges are extra and vary by country (DoubleTick conversation costs). DoubleTick does not offer a free trial; prospects book a demo.

whatsappx.si has not published its prices yet; the pricing page lists its plans for the USA and India. For numbers on the official API, Meta’s per-message fees apply on top of either product.

How do you switch from DoubleTick to whatsappx.si?

  1. Decide which connection you need

If you want a shared inbox on a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app number, QR linking is the simplest path. If you need the official API, connect through Meta Embedded Signup in whatsappx.si, and check with DoubleTick and Meta how to move a number that is already registered there.

  2. Keep a copy of what you need

There is no automatic import from DoubleTick into whatsappx.si, so keep a copy of any contacts or records you need before closing your DoubleTick account. With QR linking, recent chat history syncs in from the phone.

  3. Recreate templates and auto-replies

Create the message templates you need in whatsappx.si and sync them with Meta. Set up keyword auto-replies and knowledge-base articles by hand. Bot Studio chatbots have no equivalent in whatsappx.si.

  4. Invite your team and set roles

Send email invites, assign owner, admin or agent roles, and agents see only their assigned chats. Reconnect integrations through the REST API and webhooks, since whatsappx.si has no built-in CRM connectors.

  5. Ramp up sending gently

Whichever connection you choose, message only opted-in customers and send in small batches of 5–10 messages at a time. Never bulk-send from a QR-linked number.

Frequently asked questions

Is whatsappx.si a replacement for DoubleTick?
Only for some teams. If you use DoubleTick mainly as a team inbox with assignment, roles, keyword auto-replies and an API, whatsappx.si can cover that and adds QR linking of an existing number. If you depend on bulk broadcasts, Bot Studio chatbots, AI agents or mobile apps, DoubleTick offers things whatsappx.si does not (as of October 2026), so it is not a drop-in replacement.
Can I connect my personal WhatsApp number to whatsappx.si?
Yes. whatsappx.si links an existing WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app number by scanning a QR code, using WhatsApp’s linked-device feature. As of October 2026, DoubleTick’s Coexistence works only with WhatsApp Business app numbers and is available in India. Either way, message only people who opted in and send in small batches; WhatsApp may restrict numbers used for bulk messaging.
Does whatsappx.si support the official WhatsApp Business API like DoubleTick?
Yes. Both connect through Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). In whatsappx.si you connect with Meta Embedded Signup, verify the number and can add several Meta numbers per workspace; Meta bills its per-message fees separately. The official API is one way to connect alongside QR linking; whatsappx.si is a shared inbox first, not an API platform.
Does whatsappx.si do bulk broadcasts?
No. whatsappx.si has no broadcast campaign feature, and that is deliberate for QR-linked numbers, because WhatsApp says its products are not intended for bulk or automated messaging. As of October 2026, DoubleTick offers broadcasts on the official API with segments and analytics. For templated outbound messaging at scale, use the official Business Platform and follow Meta’s opt-in rules.
What happens if my number gets blocked?
whatsappx.si provides software to use WhatsApp with your team and is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. If WhatsApp restricts or blocks a number you connect, that is handled between you and Meta; whatsappx.si is not responsible for restrictions and cannot restore an account. Reduce the risk by using a new number normally for 15–20 days first, sending 5–10 messages at a time and only messaging people who agreed to hear from you.
